Description
Codex
This design is inspired by the codices, from the Latin codex, which are handwritten books or pictorial documents, product of the great civilizations that developed in Mesoamerica, such as the Maya, Aztec, Mixtec, Zapotec, Otomi, among others. The Mesoamerican codices were the books of Mesoamerica;
however, in the process of evangelization the Catholic Church ordered to burn and destroy all the codices of those great peoples. Some codices survived but not the most important ones.This jersey is based on the element of a codex, to remember and honor all the wisdom we have lost. Wisdom that we must recover if we want to seek a world with more balance, justice and equity.
