According to Mesoamerican culture, inside-darkness is our teacher it shows us what we have to improve, change or learn. Once we do this, darkness goes away from our being and in that moment we reborn as a new shinier and peaceful person. However, it is a hard and painful process.

Arriving to the fourth decade, eagle’s beak turns larger and curvy making it useless, their claws get flexible and long so they cannot easily hold prey and their wings get heavier. Eagles then have two options, die or be reborn, the second option is very painful process that lasting 150 days, isolated from any other creature or prey. First it has to destroy its beak and when it grows back, it pulls out its claws and useless feathers. When this painful process finishes, the eagle detaches its old self, becoming a new, strong, peaceful and calm eagle. Growth is painful.
